    TEKS: 8A, 8B - Core strength and muscular endurance

    🎯 Test Procedure:

    1. Student lies on back, knees bent at 140 degrees
    2. Arms straight, fingertips on measuring strip
    3. Curl up slowly, sliding fingers across strip
    4. Return until shoulder blades touch mat
    5. Maintain 3-second cadence throughout

    📊 Age-Based Score Averages & Standards

    Ages 5-6 (Kindergarten-1st)

    Boys Average: 5-8 curl-ups

    Girls Average: 5-8 curl-ups

    Healthy Zone: 2-10 curl-ups (both genders)

    Focus on proper form over quantity
