Introduce the Kids Heart Challenge. Discuss what it is, why we participate, thank-you gifts for fundraising, and what to do when parents say “no.”

Key questions to explore together:
• What is the heart’s main function?
• How do the heart and lungs work together?

Practice class procedures and (if time allows) some jump rope skills. Keep the energy high and have fun while building excitement for the week.
