🎯 Test Procedure:

  1. Student in push-up position with straight body alignment
  2. Lower until elbows reach 90-degree angle
  3. Push up to full arm extension
  4. Maintain controlled 3-second cadence (down-up-pause)
  5. Continue until form breaks or can't maintain pace

Ages 5-6 (Kindergarten-1st)

Boys Average: 4-6 push-ups

Girls Average: 4-6 push-ups

Healthy Zone: 3-8 push-ups (both genders)

Modified push-ups (knees down) often used

Ages 7-8 (2nd-3rd Grade)

Boys Average: 6-8 push-ups

Girls Average: 6-8 push-ups
